Guizhou Vocational College of Economics and Business Successfully Held“Chinese + Vocational Skills”

        On December 22, 2023, the graduation ceremony of “Chinese+Vocational Skills” training program, hosted by Guizhou Vocational College of Economics and Business for Dusit Technical College in Thailand, was held on the third floor of the college’s information building. Attendees included president of Dusit Technical College in Thailand, Mr. Jakarin Damrak, vice president of the college, Miss.Tanyaluck Jeeraon, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Guizhou Vocational College of Economics and Business, Li Yuanbo, middle-level cadres, all Thai students, and representatives of teachers and students of the college.

        At the graduation ceremony, Li Yuanbo delivered a speech, extending his warm congratulations to all Thai teachers and students participating in "Chinese+Vocational Skills" training program. The training not only enabled Thai teachers and students to acquire professional knowledge and skills, but more importantly, it deepened the friendship between the people of the two countries. He hoped that the trainees would be able to apply what they had learned in China to their practical work after returning to Thailand, and then expressed his wish to further strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Thai vocational education in the future to jointly promote the development of vocational education in both countries.

        Mr. Jakarin Damrak expressed his great satisfaction with the outcomes of the training in his speech. This training program has provided a valuable learning opportunity for teachers and students from Dusit Technical College in Thailand, and let them experience profound friendship and warm care in China. This experience has further strengthened their determination to carry out exchanges and cooperation with our college.

        A representative of the students from Dusit Technical College also shared her learning experiences. Through the two-week courses and activities, they not only acquired practical professional skills, but also deeply understood China’s vocational education and culture. They also felt the warmth and enthusiasm of the college teachers and students. They looked forward to having more opportunities to study in China in the future.

        At the graduation ceremony, leaders from the two colleges jointly presented graduation certificates to the trainees. Representatives of our college students also presented souvenirs to the students from Dusit Technical College in Thailand.

        During the two-week training program, students and teachers from Dusit Technical College in Thailand participated in courses related to architectural engineering technology, e-commerce, tea art and so on. They also completed field trips to “Sky Bridge” Science Museum and Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) in Pingtang. As an important part of friendly exchanges between China and Thailand, this training provided an opportunity for our college's teachers and students to understand Thai culture and education, fostering mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.

        In the future, our college will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Institute of Vocational Education, Bangkok, and Dusit Technical College in Thailand, aiming to make greater contributions to promoting the development of vocational education between China and Thailand. We believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, the exchange between our college and Thai vocational education institutions will be closer, and the cooperation in vocational education between China and Thailand will definitely yield more fruitful results!
